Full name, company name, email address, contact number, billing address and payment information (processed via PayFast — we do not store card details).
GPS coordinates, speed, heading, altitude, ignition status, external power status, battery voltage, signal strength and trip data from installed Polaris tracking devices.
IP address, device identifiers, browser type, pages visited, login timestamps and platform feature usage.
Collection of GPS location data is the core function of our Services. By subscribing and installing a Polaris tracking device, you consent to continuous collection of location data from your registered vehicles. If vehicles are operated by employees, you are responsible for notifying drivers and complying with applicable labour laws.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with: Amazon Web Services (hosting, Cape Town), PayFast (payment processing), Vodacom (cellular connectivity) and our email delivery provider. All providers are contractually bound to protect your information.
We use TLS/SSL encryption for all data in transit, hashed passwords, AWS enterprise-grade hosting in Cape Town, role-based access controls and regular security reviews.

These Terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you ("Client") and Namotex (Pty) Ltd ("Namotex") governing your use of our fleet tracking platform, mobile application, web portals, Polaris tracking devices and related services.
Namotex provides fleet vehicle tracking including real-time GPS tracking, trip history (Pro/Enterprise), configurable alerts, geofence monitoring, driver behaviour monitoring (Pro/Enterprise), and professional device installation.
The Polaris tracking device remains the property of Namotex at all times. A once-off installation fee of R2,000 per vehicle covers device supply, professional installation and platform setup. This fee is non-refundable. A replacement fee of R1,200 applies to devices damaged, lost or not returned on cancellation.
All prices include VAT. SIM card data is included in all plans.
Subscriptions are billed monthly per vehicle. New subscribers receive a 14-day free trial. Payment is due within 14 days of invoice date. Accounts overdue by more than 21 days will be suspended.
By subscribing, you commit to a minimum of 3 months per vehicle. If you cancel within the first 3 months, remaining monthly fees remain payable.
Cancel anytime from the Fleet Portal billing page. Cancellation takes effect at end of the current billing month. Vehicle data is retained for 30 days after cancellation then permanently deleted.
Clients who refer new subscribers may earn free subscription months as credits on future invoices. Credits have no cash value. Namotex may modify or terminate the programme at any time.
If you use Namotex to monitor vehicles operated by employees, you are solely responsible for notifying drivers, displaying tracking notices in vehicles, and complying with the Labour Relations Act.
Namotex shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed amounts paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for vehicle theft or loss.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the South Gauteng High Court, Johannesburg.
